Ahmedabad Kerala Samajam celebrated onam on13/09/2009 at Sree Narayana School. The celebrations included ‘athapookalam malsaram’ for all the 12 wards of AKS in Ahmedabad and an exotic ‘onasadhya’. The athapookalam turned out to be a cultural fervour of flowers, people, light and enjoyment. All the wards tried their best to showcase the culmination of myraid colours in their hearts. The resuts were declared soon after. Then the onasadhya with all the favoured ‘kootan’ were served which all the people ate to their full. For me, it was a reincarnation of what i had experienced during the last four years at my college, even though it lacked the ‘harithabhangi’ of our keralam
