New Kerala University Circular (Part 3)

Friends you are into the final stage of this saga.

Finally after receiving the high voltage advises from Mr. John Matthew, I went to Ms. Meerabai where I was initiated with some scolding and coaxing. I asked her to show the university circular. On catching the glimpse of the neatly printed circular on an A4 size paper, smiling at me, I felt to tore it into pieces as I found it to be the cause of all the hardships I was experiencing. I started reading it carefully. It started with ” the circular was brought into force inorder to lessen the hardships faced by students who lose their hall-tickets(very very very true- it did really lessen my hardships). It contained 3 clauses as follows:

1. buy the form from university form store, fill the required details, forward to the ‘controller of exams’ with the recommendation of the principal.

2. attach the cash receipt of  the application of university fees.

3. under no circumstances, the principal has any right to allow the student for the exams.

I asked Ms. Meerabai whether I should carry with me a recommendation letter from the principal when I go to the university, sothat I will be able to get the hall-ticket by showing the letter. Aghash! I need to go to the university form store, buy a form, come back to college, get the recommendation on the form from the principal, go back to university, submitt it with cash receipt to the controller of examination and finally get the hall-ticket-informed Ms. Meerabai. Tragedy strikes again! I didn’t pay the s7 university fees at the college but instead, I paid it through my friend Roshan(who was at that time studying at home).Clearly I am doomed. Nobody could save me and I better thought I would not write the exam.

Dejected I came back to hostel and started searching the drawer where I used to keep my hall-ticket. I searched all the nook and corner but- no trace. Finally after an hour’s search, I started stuffing back all the papers in to the draw where atlast I took a whole bunch of loose photostat papers of ‘Control System’ and as I was going to keep ti inside the drawer, something- folded in a bit- fell from the loose papers. I hurriedly grabbed it and on opening it- found my lost hall-ticket. No words to express the joy, the relief to all the tensions which I was literally eating. I was happy, happy, happy and that’s it- I had found my hall-ticket back.

Thus ends my saga with the  New Kerala University Circular .

Hope u guys enjoyed it!!!
